Conneli Inc. (“Conneli”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy and safeguarding personal information entrusted to us. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information in connection with our website, software platform, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).

Conneli Inc. is incorporated under the Canada Business Corporations Act and operates from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to visitors to our website, organizations that use our platform, and members, users, and individuals whose information is processed through our Services.

Where Conneli processes personal information on behalf of an organization, we act as a service provider/data processor. The organization remains the data controller.

B. Information Collected Through Organizations

When organizations use Conneli to manage members, events, or directories, we may process member names, contact information, membership status, event registrations, payment confirmations, and custom fields defined by the organization.

We may collect IP address, browser type, device information, usage logs, cookies, and similar technologies.

We do not engage in behavioral profiling or sell personal data.

We do not sell personal information and do not share personal data for advertising without explicit consent.

4. Legal Basis for Processing

We process personal information based on consent, contractual necessity, legitimate interests, and legal obligations.

5. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We may share information with trusted service providers such as payment processors, hosting providers, and security services, as well as legal authorities when required or in connection with lawful business transfers.

6. QuickBooks Online Integration

Conneli offers an optional integration that lets an organization connect its QuickBooks Online company file (provided by Intuit Inc.) to Conneli. The integration is only enabled when an authorized administrator of the organization chooses to connect it, and it is governed by this section in addition to the rest of this Privacy Policy.

A. Information We Access and Store

Authorization credentials issued by Intuit (an access token, a refresh token, and your QuickBooks company/realm ID), which we store in order to keep the connection active
Identifiers and references to the customer, invoice, payment, and refund records that Conneli creates in your QuickBooks company

We request only the permissions needed to sync accounting data (the QuickBooks Online Accounting scope). We do not access your QuickBooks login username or password; sign-in happens on Intuit's own website.

B. How We Use QuickBooks Data

We use QuickBooks data and credentials solely to provide the sync functionality the organization has requested: creating and updating customers, invoices, payments, refunds, and voids in the organization's QuickBooks company to match activity in Conneli. We do not use QuickBooks data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to providing the integration.

C. Sharing

We do not sell QuickBooks data and we do not share it with third parties, except with the service providers that host and operate Conneli on our behalf, or where required by law. Data exchanged with QuickBooks is transmitted to and from Intuit over encrypted connections.

D. Retention, Disconnecting, and Deletion

An organization administrator can disconnect QuickBooks at any time from the Integrations tab in Conneli settings. When you disconnect, we ask Intuit to revoke our access and immediately delete the stored access token, refresh token, and realm ID from our systems. You can also revoke Conneli's access at any time from your Intuit account (My Apps in QuickBooks Online).

Records already created in your QuickBooks company remain in QuickBooks and are governed by your agreement with Intuit; we cannot delete them on your behalf. To request deletion of any other information we hold in connection with the integration, contact us at the address in Section 14.

Intuit's handling of your information is described in the Intuit Privacy Statement. Conneli is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Intuit. QuickBooks is a registered trademark of Intuit Inc.

7. International Data Transfers

Information may be processed in Canada, the United States, or other jurisdictions where our providers operate, subject to appropriate safeguards.

8. Data Retention

We retain personal information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described or comply with legal obligations.

9. Security Measures

We implement commercially reasonable safeguards including encrypted transmission, secure authentication, access controls, and regular security updates.

10. Your Rights

Depending on jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, withdraw consent, or request deletion of personal information.

11. Cookies

We use cookies to maintain sessions, improve performance, and analyze usage. We do not use cookies for cross-site advertising profiling.

12. Children's Privacy

Our Services are not directed to children under 13.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Updates will be reflected in the “Last Updated” date.
